Bosphorus Strait Returns To Normalcy After Ship Salvage

Traffic in the Bosphorus is set to resume to normalcy at around 16:30 GMT after being suspended for a while because of a ship salvage operation.

The situation arose on Monday when M/V TQ Ordu ran aground in the Sile region of the Black Sea.

Soon after that, transit on both sides of the channel was suspended around  10:50 GMT.

Now the ship is ready to move to the northern Bosphorus entrance around 13:00 GMT.

It will anchor at Buyukdere, the shipping agency revealed.
